WASUP Yoga is WA's first and longest running stand up paddle board yoga community. We're celebrating our 9 year anniversary in 2020! Our yoga shala (or classroom) is uniquely situated in beautiful Shilshole Bay between Ballard and Magnolia in Seattle where we are often joined by harbor seals and great blue herons.
This waterway that is our practice space is a special place in so many ways. We acknowledge that we are on the traditional land and water of the first people of Seattle, the Duwamish People past and present, and honor with gratitude the land itself and the Duwamish Tribe.
With diverse backgrounds in yoga and fitness—and a passion for balance, nature, and paddle boarding, our teachers relish every opportunity to guide students toward their deepest practice.
Through stand up paddle board yoga classes, WASUP Yoga offers healthy adventurists a unique way to connect with the rich resources of nature and community — all while touching the wellspring of balance, wellness, and bliss that resides within us all.
Have Fun. Give Back.
WASUP Yoga values our interconnectedness and the positive difference that simple, direct action can make in our community. Because WASUP Yoga donates a portion of all proceeds to Noel House programs and Yoga Behind Bars, every stretch you take on the water will expand the quality of life for homeless women and the incarcerated.
Are you feeling interested, even ready to grab a paddle...and maybe still a little nervous? We get that!
